#Mamavation Monday

Another week has come and gone. I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend. The Easter bunny visited on Sunday morning and brought baskets filled with healthy goodies which the kids liked I guess they are growing up now. We also had Easter egg hunts and I cooked a ham, collard greens, baked mac & cheese, yams, potato salad and a bunny carrot cake that I make every year. The good thing about me cooking is it makes me lose my appetite so I didn't eat much. I slacked off this week by working out everyday but not really pushing myself like I normally do. I have been in a funk this past couple of weeks. Maybe I am having Campaign 15 withdrawal,  I am not sure. BUT enough is enough it is time to get back on track. I have a lot going on this week and am looking forward to it.

What do you do to get yourself out of a funk ?

  2. I'm always (in) a funk. BAHAHA. Sorry. You must be in withdrawal, but you are STRONG and awesome and you'll get out of it. :)

  3. When I find myself in a funk I have to change things up, try something new. Whether a new workout, a new running route...something! Once I try something new and push a lil harder I usually see a slight difference and get just enough motivation to keep it going. Or like Shannon suggested...go look at a picture of yourself before and say ohhh yeah this girl is not going back to that! I do that, it's much more productive than looking at myself back pre-kids and going WAH where's my oreos! LOL

  4. Gosh I don't even know how to answer this. I don't think I've been in a funk- just not having any time for myself and not being sick. Really blows.. We've been sicker here than I don't know what :( I miss Tampa.

I hope you get out of your funk mama! Have a wonderful week!!

  6. I've been in a funk way too long. Let's beat it together. Set a goal and give yourself something to push for.
