The History of Me in Music

Music has been a big part of my life from the time I was a baby. When I was little I would watch my mom getting ready to go out and dancing in the house to music.

FYSIKO Eyelash Growth Serum

The instructions say you won't see results until at least 4- 6 weeks. But I am so excited that at 3 weeks I had to SCREAM that it is WORKING already.

Kenya Moore Booty Bootcamp Review

If you know me you know I love The Real Housewives Series and one of my favorites is Atlanta. I think Kenya Moore former Ms. USA is a great addition this season. That being said when I was asked by the wonderful @bookieboo from Mamavation if I wanted to review her DVD Kenya Moore: Booty Boot Camp , I was like "YEAH" I want a stallion booty.

Mamavation Mondays

This week went by super fast. I am starting to feel like my " REAL" self which is great. I am the type of person that sees the glass as half full. I don't make excuses for things because if I did it would be a long list but what good would that do, right. I am where I am right now because that is where I am suppose to be. Every day on this earth and not in it is a day to try and be a better person and learn something new. This week I am going to make a new Vision Board with attainable goals.

I need to restock on fresh veggies and fruits. I also have been slacking in the water department and my skin is showing it. I also need to make more time for myself which means be alone for more than 15 minutes and not feel guilty about it.

FYSIKO Eyelash Growth Serum

*** I was gifted with a sample of this product by the company for review purposes and compensation but opinions are my own ***

I know you have all seen those commercials to make your eyelashes thicker and longer. When I put mascara on it is always a hassle and I end up with either too little or too much. I was thinking about trying one of those prescribed eyelash products but was scared from the side effects I had heard about. Also having to go to my Dr to get a prescription and the price of them. So when I was given the opportunity to try this new product FYSIKO Eyelash Growth Serum made with natural ingredients I jumped for it. FYSIKO Eyelash Growth Serum is over the counter and works on both upper and lower lashes. FYSIKO states that you will see results in 4-6 weeks with full results in 16. So I decided to take some before shots of my eyelashes and keep you up to date on the progress. The price for a bottle will run you $139.00 but it last for about 6-8 months if used daily and after 4-6 weeks you won't need to keep using mascara so much.

 QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE:
1. Is it safe with extensions??? Yes
2. How is it different from LATISSE ?    FYSIKO is made with natural ingredients , no prescription needed and doesn't cost as much
3.Is it safe with contacts?    Yes, wait 10 minutes after applying
If you have other questions or would like to know more about FYSIKO Eyelash Growth Serum check out their website www.fysikolashes.com or call them at 1-888-518-0111.They are also on Facebook and twitter .

*** I was given this product at no charge to myself and will be compensated for my time. These opinions are my own. ***

Mamavation Mondays

I don't know about you but lately with all the bad things happening it makes me think about my life. I am not living the life I know I was made for and not being authentic in what I am doing. I am basically going through the motions and doing it with a big smile on my face. As a result of that I feel like my body is telling me " You can't lie to me" and in the process falling apart. But.... like the soldier I am I will put my BIG girl panties on and get through this black fog. I need to go back to the basics and eat fresh & local foods again. I noticed when I didn't eat anything packaged I felt clear and focused. Also, I need to start up again working out first thing in the morning because I notice if I don't I don't do as much as I know I can.

How I feel at times

This week I lost 3.4 ounces and it is one of those weeks where I am counting every ounce.I haven't measured in a while and am going to measure myself and post my inches next week.

Mamavation Mondays

I don't think we are in Kansas anymore... My body has not been cooperating with me this past week. I feel like it is falling apart. From the tips of my toes to the ends of my hair I have had problems. I think it may be because I started eating white stuff again and not as many fruits and veggies, I don't know but I need to get my ass in check !!! This week I am hitting the gym everyday for no less than a hour and running most days 3 miles. I am going to STOP eating so many unhealthy carbs. Normally I like to do yoga in the AM and PM, do some fun cardio like ZUMBA or running. In a pinch there is nothing like the hundred which is a pilates move that will have you feeling muscles that you didn't know you had.

#Mamavation Monday

Mamavation Mondays

It has been a little over 3 weeks since Campaign 15 has come to an end. Along the way I learned a lot about myself . I am way stronger than I thought not to mention that I lost over 30 lbs. I met great ladies Joanna and Jeanae who became more than just Sista's . When I found out I was chosen to be a Mamavation Mom I was super excited and thought the 7 weeks were going to be loooooong. Those weeks went by super fast. This week Campaign 16's 5 finalist will be chosen and they will start hazing which will narrow it down to 3 Mamavation Moms. To the 3 who will get picked I say enjoy every minute, don't waste time complaining, be ready to work out and learn a new way of eating. Know that you are very lucky and a lot of other women would love to be in your place. Take advantage of everything you have access to ( advice, meal plans, workouts) and most importantly enjoy ever minute because it goes by quicker than you think. To the finalist who aren't chosen this round do NOT give up and feel down. The great thing about Mamavation is someone is always on the other side of the monitor.

My weight is down 2 ounces and yes I am counting them !!!!

#Mamavation Monday

Another week has come and gone. I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend. The Easter bunny visited on Sunday morning and brought baskets filled with healthy goodies which the kids liked I guess they are growing up now. We also had Easter egg hunts and I cooked a ham, collard greens, baked mac & cheese, yams, potato salad and a bunny carrot cake that I make every year. The good thing about me cooking is it makes me lose my appetite so I didn't eat much. I slacked off this week by working out everyday but not really pushing myself like I normally do. I have been in a funk this past couple of weeks. Maybe I am having Campaign 15 withdrawal,  I am not sure. BUT enough is enough it is time to get back on track. I have a lot going on this week and am looking forward to it.

What do you do to get yourself out of a funk ?
