#Mamavation Monday

HOLLA !!! I have been officially welcomed to the Mamavation Sistahood and it feels GREAT. To kick of this first Monday of the New Year I want to talk NEW and what that means to me. I have a new attitude about exercise and why I need to do it. Not only to get my body back & right but to get my mind right also. In the last 2 weeks I have lost a total of 6 lbs.. I can't take all the credit. All the Mamavation Sistas have been so helpful and giving encouragement. I have learned in the last week more about fitness & eating right then I probably ever knew before. My goals as of now are by my birthday which is on February 27 (7 weeks away) to be at least 15 lbs lighter that will be an average of 2 lbs a week. I am going to congratulate myself every 2 weeks with a trip to get a mani/pedi by a professional, something I haven't done in ages.I have also started eating breakfast something before I would not do heck I wouldn't eat my first meal until 3 or 4.  I ran my first 5K and actually timed it , I didn't break any world records but I did it. I now look forward to exercising and don't feel bad when I tell my kids " Mommy needs to do this ". My 13 year old son and 8 year old daughter have asked if they can work out with me also. I am now ready for the HAZING portion of making it to Mamavation Bootcamp and can't wait to see how far I can push my body. I have made and met some great ladies fellow Sistas in this process and look forward to all of us getting healthy & fit. Don't forget I still need your love so please keep tweeting for me.
