#Mamavation Monday

 I never make resolutions for the simple fact that by the second week in January they have been broken.This year I will not make resolutions that I do not intend to keep. I will make some and will keep them no matter what. I have to take care of myself first just like when you are on a plane and the flight attendants tell you to put the oxygen mask on yourself before you put it on your kids. So here we go...



1. I will break a REAL sweat for at least 45   minutes a day
2. I will take 15 minutes for "ME" time everyday
3. I will cut out all sugary drinks 
4. I will make vegetables my main course and build around that
5. I will eat cut out processed foods and eat clean


I applied for the Mamavation Bootcamp  and the Omron Strapless Heart Rate Monitor Fitness Challenge so if I get to be a part of any of these or both of these I will have the support & backing to keep me on track.

  7. Love your goals! Kia is totally on to something with her suggestion! I've adapted mine to 5/7 to plan for extra busy days and rest days. Good luck and I hope your 2013 is awesome!

  11. My guess is cutting down on the sugar will show you some results right away. Check out my post on Mamavation about the top findings of 2012...one of them was about sugar. Its about as addictive as heroin AND what's worse is it's in EVERYTHING. Most of what you purchase has it added to it. So if you also start cooking from scratch, you will be cutting down on sugar, sodium AND getting more nutrients and water in all your food. :)

  13. Great goals! I am not cutting out sugar just yet, but I am cutting WAY back on the amount of coffee I drink, starting right now. My husband would have a fit if I cut out sugar, so I'm going to have to slowly do that one! Good luck!
