Mamavation Monday- What a Week

This past week has been full of highs and lows. I was officially welcomed into the Mamavation Sistahood which was a high. My youngest daughter who is 8 will be having a birthday on the 19th so she wanted to go to Disney World & Medieval Times so we went there this past weekend another HIGH . But on Friday before we left the TERRIBLE news at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newton, CT was heard all around the world. It literally knocked the wind out of me. I felt that we just didn't have a right to have fun and laugh over the weekend. I didn't want to ruin my daughters Birthday weekend so we still went but I could not help and listen over & over again the news. The pictures were heartbreaking and I explained to my kids what happened & how now those 20 kids & 6 adults were now Angels.  Moving forward is what we all have to do and being there for our kids is a MUST. One way to do that is by being the best ME I can be and that is by being present & healthy. This week Mamavation TV is all about bringing the outdoors in with gardening and how to do it in your own backyard. No acres and acres necessary. I look forward to hearing all about gardening ,I have always wanted to do it but don't consider myself having a Green Thumb.
